The Liberty-Trait Agreement (LTA) is a contract between BASF and a breeder client that grants the breeder a limited license for the possession and use of certain innovative properties and technologies, including LibertyLink® certified rapeseed seeds, LibertyLink® certified soybeans and Liberty® 200 SN Herbizid. For more information, see basf.com/grow-with-us STINE used standard industrial insulation and purity processes in the manufacture of seed products. Due to contamination factors that are not controlled by STINE, STINE cannot guarantee or guarantee that STINE seed products are free of other transgenic corn properties or transgenic soybean characteristics. Words and phrases should be interpreted according to context, as in the number of singulars or plurals. The transaction also includes Bayer`s research and breeding capabilities for these crops and the LibertyLink property and brand. Seeds that contain the Enlist, Herculex and PowerCore properties are protected by numerous U.S. patents. Seeds containing patented properties can only be used for planting a single commercial crop and cannot be conserved or replanted. They recognize and agree to be bound by the conditions of the following documents in force at the time of planting of these seeds: (i) the agreement on the use of the technology and (ii) the product use guides for all technologies of these seeds, including the management of herbicide resistance (HRM), and the use requirements (www.corteva.us/Resources/trait-stewardship.html) mentioned in them. To plant Enlist, Herculex and PowerCore seeds, you must have a limited license from Corteva Agriscience (or other appropriate associated companies).
In light of the above, Corteva Agriscience grants the producer a limited licence to use its technology for the production of a single commercial crop in the United States, under the terms of the technology use agreement in place at the time of planting of these seeds. Read and follow the herbicide label instructions: Enlist® products contain the Enlist feature, which provides plant safety for the use of over-the-top marked applications of glyphosate, glufosinate and 2.4D herbicides with Colex-D® technology when used in accordance with label instructions. After burndown, the only 2,4-D herbicide products that can be used with Enlist® crop products using Colex-D technology and are specifically reported for use on Enlist crops. 2,4-D products that do not contain Colex-D technology are not allowed to be used in combination with Enlist products. Seeds containing the LibertyLink® property may be protected by one or more U.S. patents and can only be planted to produce one (1) commercial crop in a single season, and only after the signing of a BASF Grower technology agreement. It is illegal to store seeds containing the LibertyLink feature for use as planting seeds or for non-planting seed purposes. Before opening a seed bag, you must read and understand the fiduciary management requirements, including the applicable insect resistance management protection requirements, for the biotech characteristics expressed in the seeds described in the technology agreement you sign.
By opening and using a seed bag, you reaffirm your commitment to meeting these stewardship requirements. About BASF At BASF, we create chemistry for a sustainable future. We associate economic success with environmental protection and social responsibility.
